Process of Making Carpet
The manufacturing of carpet is created in two primary ways. Weaving and tufting are the two ways in which carpets are made today. The tufting technique consists of computers directing machines to create a certain style, pattern, and density of different types of carpets using synthetic yarn materials. This is a four step process that can take some time, work, and skill to be performed properly. For the weaving process this can be done by hand or by machine. Woven carpets may take more time to create than tufting styled carpets, and they tend to be a bit more luxurious. This is reflected in the selling cost of these carpets.
