A Star Story
It was the year 1989 when Star Group incorporated its first venture in Thailand – manufacturing Olefin yarns. Times were tough as machines and technology was rapidly becoming obsolete while economy and resources were fluctuating. A few years down the line, realizing the growth potential in the ASEAN region, Star expanded its manufacturing facilities and business into producing superior quality soft floor coverings. Now, after almost a quarter of a century, Star Group has established itself not only as a reliable supplier but specialists in the industry.
As Star’s Founder & CEO, Mr. Sabahat Ellahi explains:

Over the years demand of yarn for the soft floor covering industry has kept on changing and so have we at Star Group kept pace with the ever-changing market.
New yarn systems have been the prime focus, now we are able to produce Olefin, Polyester and Cotton under one roof. Blending these three face fibers we have developed unique yarn systems. Meeting market challenges have led Star Group to provide an economical manufacturing platform for our customers.
